Rack Mount Enterprise Servers and Compuware
Cubix and Compuware have been alliance partners since 2001 and have jointly integrated enterprise servers and rack mount servers in many of the world’s largest companies. Both engineering teams test and certify the software/hardware combinations to ensure that your network tools are compatible and reliable. Strict QA procedures are followed to keep Vantage releases current with operating system service packs, patches and updates.
To save time and expense for Vantage customers, Cubix preloads Vantage software at the Cubix factory on its rack mount servers. Cubix also sources and integrates Compuware-certified specialized network adapters and taps. In addition, Cubix preloads Probe Managers, Interactive Viewer and SQL database server on its rack mount servers, if required. Pre-installation reduces the potential for time- consuming configuration errors and speeds up deployment efforts. All setup information including the network IP addresses for the enterprise servers and rack mount servers are stored in a comprehensive database that Cubix, Compuware and the customer’s technical services teams have privileged access to. Vantage projects often necessitate the need for dozens of enterprise servers as probe managers and rack mount servers as probes. A BladeStation enclosure can be configured with as many as six distinct enterprise servers within. Enterprise servers are deployed in the data center typically. Rack mount servers, configured as probes in BladeStation enclosures or in standalone BladePoint enclosures, are often strategically dispersed across the wide area network.
